BACKING BETTER: PART 5
Last month, our Principal Consultant Gerri Ward talked with Natalie Ferguson, co-founder and CEO of Powrsuit in her ‘Backing Better’ series of interviews with sustainability thought leaders who are making a real, tangible positive difference in tackling climate change and innovating for a positive, more sustainable future.
This month, Gerri is talking with Darsel Keane, Director of the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Auckland. The Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship is the hub for the development and promotion of innovation, commercialisation and entrepreneurial activities within the University, and is on a mission to unleash the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship, by providing the knowledge, environment and inspiration to all staff and students through experiential programmes, events and workshops.
Darsel has had a long and illustrious career in the business of hope, capability, business growth, and positive mindset. She works with inspired and inspirational rangatahi every day, and can attest more than most to the power of relentless optimism.
“What we’re seeing is this great energy, this thirst for ideas, and wanting to make an impact in different ways. We get to bring these communities together and give them a chance to shine, inspire and educate”. - Darsel Keane
